I want to thank everyone who came and volunteered at Horses for Hope! It was such an amazing day!
All together, we raised over $2,500. And a generous donor matched those funds!!!

We'd like to recognize those who shared their time and horses with everyone!

Thunder Mountain Ranch, LLC thank you for the horse rides!
VEZA Experience thank you for the paint a pony booth.
Happy Hooves Hideaway thank you for the carriage rides and fun mini activities.
NWA Farm School thank you for bringing your baby donkeys and photo booth.

Cross Pointe Community Church for donating the hot dogs.

Several people gave auction items!
And many gave of their time!

We are so grateful! And these funds are going to help us connect more people with riding lessons and equine activities throughout Northwest Arkansas. Making dreams possible for those who would never be able to afford them on their own!

Horses for Hope was an amazing day! We were so blessed to see so many beautiful families connect and experience horses up close and in fun unique ways. From painting them, bowling with them, riding, and even driving them. What an amazing day! Thank you to all who came and supported our ministry!

I'm so grateful to be part of this ministry and what God is doing. Please join us Saturday for Horses of Hope and helps us connect more people with horses and share God's love.

How does your ministry operate?

I like to think of it this way...

We STAND IN THE GAP and the gap is providing the financial funds to those who would not otherwise be able to afford riding lessons or horse related activities.

Which also involves covering our participants in prayer. Praying for them by name!

And planting seeds of hope by sharing God's love and eternal hope in Jesus.

One of the reasons an encounter with a horse is so

One of the reasons an encounter with a horse is so powerful is because they see what is in the inside. We as humans pick up on this quickly. This can be especially powerful for a young person. They aren't seen for the color of their skin, the freckles on their face, the disability that holds them back, or even what kind of clothes they are wearing. In fact, the most rejected in society may be most ease next to a 1,000 pound horse for this reason.

And the truth is we don't see ourselves for who we really are. In Isaiah God says, You are precious in My sight, honored, and loved. You were created for my glory. You aren't an accident. I formed you and made you.

An encounter with the truth is what we need most!

October 5th is our first annual FUNdraiser - Horses for Hope in Bentonville!

Come bring your family! It's affordable, fun, and very hands on!

There will be so many horse related activities and more such as:

*Sit on a Horse
*Pet the Minis
*Lawn Games
*Photo Ops
*Horse kissing booth
*Bowl with a horse
*Carriage Rides
*Silent Auction &
*Hot Dog Bar with all the fixin’s

Part of what we do with our participants is encour

Part of what we do with our participants is encourage volunteer work. We love being able to pay for something like riding lessons for someone who can't afford it. Giving back is one way they can show their appreciation.
When we started Anna Roan Ministries we envisioned community. And communities come together. There are lots of needs but we have a list of volunteer needs on our website.

It was an honor to wear the skirt that has adorned so many other mama's that have lost their babies. There is strength is community. Stories need to be shared and I believe it changes hearts and minds.

I have traded beauty for ashes so many times in my journey of loss. This ministry proves to me that God can turn even the most tragic into something good.

An update from on of our participants and a thank you to our partnernership at Flying Q.

She has had a wonderful summer getting to ride! Flying Q has been awesome for various reasons. One thing I love is they let her ride a variety of horses which gives her a lot of good experience and helps her learn how to adapt to different horses and their personalities!

Finally made time for a little visit to Anna Roan'

Finally made time for a little visit to Anna Roan's grave. I probably hadn't been there since April, right around Easter. But as I sat there I thought about the little girls, the families, and those we have helped connect with horses over the past few months and it makes me happy. Thank you to our donors, our partners, and those who have helped this ministry. I'm excited to see what else we accomplish this year and years to come.

An update from one of our participants. Aurora's

An update from one of our participants.

Aurora's confidence has really grown with her lessons! She is trotting, learning the posting trot, and has really improved at being more direct with telling her horse where to go and what to do! Last lesson (on Monday) she learned the emergency halt and emergency dismount. She's also taken her very first few trail rides with her instructor!! We truly appreciate her lessons this last month! It has been so good for her and she is always so excited to get out the door and go!

I was honored to help Flint Creek Youth Ranch with

I was honored to help Flint Creek Youth Ranch with one of their community trail rides. It was a beautiful ride with lots of Creek crossings. All the horses are gentle and beginner safe. So happy to be partnered with them! They offer trail rides and group lessons. If you are interested and don't have the funds to participate you can apply for our grant program on our website. We love helping connect others with horses.

When Amy's mom asked her on a scale of 1-10 how much she enjoyed her first riding lesson she answered, "2,000!"

We had a great ride yesterday. The first of many I hope! Such a beautiful way to remember and honor my daughter Anna Roan on Mother's day weekend. We also raised $190. Every dollar will go to making a dream come true for someone and sharing the love of Christ. Thank you to the riders and their generous contributions! Happy Mothers Day!!!
