Anna Roan Ministries sponsors riding lessons and equine activities for those in need, inspiring faith and hope in Jesus.

We believe that horses have the capacity to heal, encourage, and strengthen us. Our ministry was born out of the want to connect people with horses. Making the dream of learning to ride a reality. Providing the opportunity to work with horses, inspiring hope, while also sharing faith in Christ.

How it Works

Riding Lessons

One of the primary ways we serve our community is by offering scholarships for riding lessons. Recipients receive a set scholarship amount to apply toward lessons with a local trainer or barn in their area—making the opportunity both affordable and convenient for them and their family.
Please note: Anna Roan Ministries provides funding only. No ministry team members will accompany participants to lessons.

Equine Activities

For those not interested in formal lessons, we also offer scholarships for equine activities. These non-riding sessions are designed to be relaxing, fun, and restorative—perfect for those seeking connection with horses in a slower-paced setting.

Trail Rides

In partnership with another nonprofit, we also help fund guided trail rides. These outings provide a peaceful and enjoyable experience with horses—no prior riding experience required.

Our Why

Anna Roan was the beloved daughter of Rachel and Andrew Brown of Tontitown, Arkansas. She lived for 112 precious minutes before passing from her mother’s arms into the arms of Jesus. Though her time on earth was brief, her legacy is one of love, faith, and inspiration.

Rachel, a lifelong horsewoman, has personally experienced the comfort and joy horses bring. Anna Roan Ministries was created to share that gift with others—removing the financial barrier and making these healing encounters possible.
