God wants you to know you are loved. Not because

God wants you to know you are loved.
Not because of anything you've done or not done. But because you are His precious child.
Everyday He wants you to see and feel how much He loves you.
So I pray whoever is reading this is able to slow down and connect with Him today.
I love riding my horse and connecting with Him in that way.
I want others to connect with Him in that way too. It's so powerful.
And I'm so grateful for the opportunity for that through this ministry. 🙏

Part of the reason behind Anna Roan Ministries was

Part of the reason behind Anna Roan Ministries was not being able to afford lessons when I was a child. We were actually fortunate enough to own horses, but I remember being crushed when I asked for lessons from my parents. "It's too expensive," was their reply.
When you're a child you simply can't understand the struggles parents go through. All I know is I had a dream to learn to jump.
Now through Anna Roan I get to part of helping make other children's dreams come true. That when they ask for lessons from their parents there is another option.
Learning to ride is so empowering. It builds self-confidence.
And as far as I know there isn't another ministry like ours. I'm so thankful for this journey and all the smiling faces it puts in my path.

Just being close to horses can bring about peace i

Just being close to horses can bring about peace in our heart and mind. It's a scientific fact many experience healing, lowered blood pressure, lowered anxiety, and more when with horses.

Part of our mission is for more people to experience that kind of peace. We do that by covering the cost of lessons.

I was full of joy, hope, and expectancy when this

I was full of joy, hope, and expectancy when this was taken. But also blissfully unaware there was anything wrong with my baby. I had no idea the hard road ahead and the grief that was lurking around the corner. The following months were a rollercoaster.
The last time I saw Anna I laid her in a casket, straightened her dress, and told her I loved her.
But even now I wouldn't change it. This is what was suppose to happen. This is how God's amazing love broke through my life like no other.
It's how God showed up and showed out just how much he loved me.
I have praised Him more than ever. I have worshiped in the most intimate way I could by releasing everything to Him, even her.
God wants us, all of us. Our heart and devotion. And boy does He have mine.
I see this picture and I know that joy is fuller, hope is bigger, and Heaven awaits.

I read this verse this morning and reflected on the wonderful ways God has shown his unfailing love in my life this week.

There were so many ways! I have been blessed with some amazing people in my life that have been so thoughtful towards us this week!

Rather than trying to find a silver lining in your situation. Try finding the fingerprints of Jesus in it. Then hold on to faith and hope because you will begin seeing His glory displayed in and through it all.

Words cannot express adequately how much Anna Roan Ministries has helped my daughter. Her self confidence and bravery has grown. She has found a new passion and life goal of having her own horse ranch. The horse riding lessons have given her a place of peace and respite from the stressors of being in a special needs family. I think the best way to sum it up is in her own words, "I achieved a dream that I didn't think was possible."

A good horse encapsulates this verse. Why? Because they have proved themselves authentic, trustworthy, and calm.

We can learn so much from a horse with a gentle spirit and kind eye. It is a beautiful thing to pair a child with such a horse.
